Any religion is much too complicated to discuss on an editorial page, so to Mr. Loeschen and all others who are interested in knowing more about the Islamic religion please consider coming to the basement room of the public library at 5 PM on Monday, Oct. 24 to discuss a book by Thomas W. Lippman who spent four years in the Middle East while working for the Washington Post. He has very interesting and important things to share in his book about Islam.
For example he agrees with many people from the West when he says that there will be more turmoil and extremism in the Middle East than elsewhere in the foreseeable future. Why? Please come to the library on Monday to present your ideas and hear those of Mr. Lippman.
