Iowa Lakes improved to 5-3 with a 119-85 victory over the Morningside Junior Varsity on Sunday.
The Lakers shot 70.1 percent (47-of-67) from the field including 61.5 percent (8-for-13) from 3-point range. They also made 17-of-18 free throws.
Morningside shot just 42.9 percent (27-for-63), but they made 95.7 percent (22-for-33) from the free throw line.
Iowa Lakes led 61-41 after one half of play.
Deondre Parks and Colton Neff each scored 18 points for the Lakers.
Josh Schaben and Diamontae McKinely each scored 14 while Ben Shellim had 11.
Kelly Madison and Tate Harmon each finished with nine points, Kevin Larson and Justin Murphy each had eight, Mark Miedema had six and Isaiah Jackson had four.
Madison and Schaben each had six rebounds. Madison also had five assists while Larson and Harmon each had four.
Iowa Lakes is on the road against Minnesota West Community and Tech College on Wednesday. Game time is 8 p.m.
