GRAETTINGER - With only seven wrestlers competing, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire did about as well as they could in a quadrangular meet on Tuesday.
The Titans finished 1-2 on the night, but lost just two contested matches.
GTRA defeated West Bend-Mallard/Gilbert City-Bradgate 42-12 in a strange dual as the Wolverines brought just two wrestlers. However, the two teams didn't match up at any weight, so all wins were by forfeit. For GTRA, Matt McGrauth (160), Kyle long (195), Cody Thompson (285), Alex Hoffman (120), Austin Thompson (132), Tyler Hoffman (145) and Hunter Brown (152) received forfeits.

Against Laurens-Marathon/Sioux Central, the two teams had contested matches at only four weights, but the Titans needed one more pin to take the win in a 42-40 loss.
At 113 pounds, GTRA's Alex Hoffman pinned John Matheson in 53 seconds. At 132 pounds, Austin Thompson pinned Justen Spangler in 33 seconds. At 145 pounds, Tyler Hoffman pinned Dalton Wiley in 2:23.
The Titans needed a pin at 170, but Matt McGrauth finished with a 14-4 major decision over Matt Koenig.
Kyle Long (220), Cody Thompson (285) and Hunter Brown (160) received forfeits.
There were four contest matches against Alta-Aurelia with GTRA winning two of them in the 39-30 dual loss.
At 195 pounds, Kyle Long pinned Christian Jarvis in 50 seconds. At 145 pounds, Tyler Hoffman pinned Ben Stange in 2:49.
In the other contested matches, Hunter Brown (152) lost by fall in 55 seconds to Dylan Ohlson. At heavyweight, Cody Thompson lost 2-1 in the second tiebreaker to Garrett Van Houten.
McGrauth (160), Alex Hoffman (113) and Austin Thompson (132) received forfeits.
