GRAETTINGER - Graettinger-Terril Community School District announces Feb Fest for Graettinger-Terril schools on Monday, Feb. 25. Students, staff, parents and community organizations are working together to plan this exciting festival where they highlight and showcase many of the great things taking place everyday in G-T Schools.
"We invite you to take a deeper look into a school day in the life of our students," said 6-12 grade principal Teresa Alesch. Education is evolving and children today experience a much different approach than we once did. On your journey, you will have the opportunity to watch student performances, witness classroom demonstrations and explore programs we offer our students."
Students in grades 6-12 will guide guests through a journey with entertaining stops along the way: some will perform speeches and musical numbers, some will provide daycare, some will display achievements, and some will present "what we do at G-T." Elementary students will be at the school in Graettinger too, with stops to include classroom demonstrations, program displays and class performances.
Other stops along the journey include a free-will offering meal, mini-carnival and informational booths.
Reserve Monday, Feb. 25 for this special celebration. Family and friends are welcome.
"We hope to highlight what's going well and give you an up close opportunity to interact with students ambassadors and staff.
