The Estherville Area Chamber of Commerce Farm and Home Show this weekend is a must-do if your live in Emmet County.
This year's show at the Regional Wellness Center in Estherville features over 50 vendors. Admission is free, with the show open 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Vendors will also be doing raffles and giving away lots of items.
The Chamber will also host a Legislative Town Hall Meeting Saturday, with Congressman Steve King, Representative Tedd Gassman and Senator Dannie Guth attending. The meeting will be at 10 a.m. at the RWC.
We've had Legislative Town Hall Meetings before, but this one is special. We have a new representative and senator as well as congressman. So please turn out to greet them and make them feel welcome.
This is a great event - not to mention being free - and it's a great way to see what's new and what's available for improving your home.
Our homes are our greatest investment, and we should all take advantage of what local contractors and home-related businesses in Estherville have to offer.
You'll get ideas on how to improve your home at this year's Farm and Home Show - plus the contractors and dealers that can help you accomplish them.
Besides that, it's a great way to get out of the house and mix with a lot of people you haven't seen for a while - all in the indoor comfort of the RWC.
So we hope to see you there.
