The Estherville Lincoln Central Girls Tennis Team looked to avenge an early season loss to Storm Lake, but lost too many close matches as the Midgets fell 5-4.

In the no. 5 singles, Mackenzie Wilson lost 10-3 to Kathy Lai.

In doubles, Rosinger and Jorgenson got the lone win as they defeated Lai and Croker 10-8.

At the No. 1 singles, Hagen and Burns lost 10-6 to Brown and Mai. At the No. 2 singles, Schacherer and Wilson led 8-5 before falling 11-9 to Smith and Keozuphone.

In junior varsity play, Kaylee Nissen lost 9-7, Taylor Nissen lost 8-4, Emily Origer lost 8-2, Macarena Cibran lost 8-2 and Laura Perez lost 8-3.
