TERRIL - Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire has seen enough of Class 2A No. 3 North Union this week.
After losing to the Warriors at the Estherville Lincoln Central Tournament on Saturday, the Titans hosted North Union in a doubleheader on Monday.
The Warriors won both games in three innings-16-0 and 25-2.
North Union scored 14 runs in the first inning of game one and finished with 12 hits.
Allie Ingalls was 2-3 with three RBIs while Sarah Rolling was 3-3 with two RBIs. Autumn Boland was 2-3 while Taylor Mathine was 2-2. Cheyanne Boland, Dena Looft and Sara Johnson each had one hit.
Peyton Oleson earned the win as she gave up two hits and struck out one batter in three innings of work.
Alyssa Hoffman took the loss for the Titans as she gave up eight walks and had one strikeout.
Oleson also pitched the second game this time giving up two earned runs on five hits with five strikeouts and one walk.
Meanwhile the Warriors again got off to a fast start with 15 runs in the first inning and five each in the second and third. The Titans scored two runs in the bottom of the third inning.
Ingalls went 4-5 with a triple, a home run and three RBIs. Collete Haag was 3-4 with four RBIs while Mathine was 3-3 with three RBIs. Also Oleson was 1-2 with two RBIs and Cheyanne Boland and Johnson each went 1-3 with two RBIs. Autumn Boland was 1-2 with an RBI. Looft, Rolling and Kyarsten Mullen each had a hit.
Skattebo took the loss for the Titans as she gave up 25 runs (13 earned) on 15 hits with eight walks and two strikeouts.
Cassy Hampson, Brooke Hoffman, Skattebo, Marly Bakken and Alex Oleson each had a hit for GTRA.
GTRA (1 -9) had its game against Okoboji postponed on Tuesday. The Titans are at Pocahontas Thursday evening.
North Union travels to Laurens-Marathon tonight.
