Person who stole from grave site is not nice

July 30, 2013
Estherville Daily News

This is for the person or persons who stole from my husband's grave and for anyone else that steals from someone's grave. Not only did you steal from my husband, but you stole from me and a couple of friends of ours as well. I had put a large wrought-iron heart with a pot of flowers on his grave. The heart was about 3 feet high and about 2 feet wide. That heart had been on my husband's grave for over a year and nobody bothered it. Whoever did this also took the picture that the funeral home puts out on the grave plus flowers that two of our friends had put on it.

The man that takes care of the cemetery told me that I should call the police and file a report, which I did.

You probably don't even know me and thought this was good for a laugh. Believe me, I'm certainly not laughing. But, if you did know me and Kenny-what did we do to you to make you so vindictive?

It's hard enough losing someone you love, but it really makes me sad that someone would do something like this. I do hope someday you and others like you will develop a conscience.

Dixie Bishop,

Estherville
