Each year the Estherville Lincoln Central Booster Club Board of Directors has the privilege of selecting the ELC Athletic Fan of the Year. As in past years, there are many deserving individuals that show tremendous support to the athletes, the Booster Club and the ELC Athletic Department.
The ELC Booster Club is proud to present Marlis Tribby, better known as "Tribbs" as the ELC Booster Fan of the Year.
Marlis graduated from Lincoln Central in 1969. She has lived in Missouri and the Des Moines area. She moved back to the area in 1976 with her two daughters.

Since moving back to the area Marlis worked for Glasstite, United Methodist Church, Dr. Roberts Optometrists and the ELC School District.
At ELC, Marlis began as a teacher associate in the middle school where her husband Jim was the instrumental band instructor. Marlis and Jim adopted their son Kyle in 1994.
After Jim's passing, Marlis transferred to the high school as the attendance secretary. She has been a great fan in the stands and truly enjoys watching "her kids" from the high school in their sports and events. Marlis is always willing to work at events and help in any way.
Soon, Marlis will be able to watch her three grandchildren start their activities at ELC.
Marlis is very involved in the Estherville United Methodist Church. She is in the choir, praise team, Susanna Wesley Circle, Communion Committee, and she enjoys being worship leader.
In her spare time she likes to visit with her sister and friends and have coffee, read, sew, watch movies, and go out for supper.
It is with great pleasure that ELC Booster Club recognizes Marlis Tribby as the 2013-2014 "Fan of the Year."
