RINGSTED - The annual RAGBRAI (Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa) will hit
Emmet County via Ringsted, due to the safety of the location.

This year's RAGBRAI will start Sunday, July 20 in Rock Valley and go 69 miles to spend the night in Okoboji. On Monday, July 21, the group will go 41 miles to Emmetsburg and from there to Ringsted, Bancroft and then to Forest City where they will spend the night after traveling a total of 73 miles.
On Wednesday, July 23, the group will go 36 miles to Mason City and then another 63 miles to Waverly.
Thursday, July 24 will see bikers going to Independence. On the last day they will travel 68 miles to Guttenberg, ending their 418-mile trip across Iowa.
