NU?places two on first team, GTRA has one

Cornbelt Conference co-champion North Union was well-represented on the all-conference listing released recently with four players receiving honors.

The Warriors tied Harris-Lake Park with a 7-1 record in league play as the two teams split their games this season.

Senior Aurora Oliver and sophomore Sara Rolling were named to the first team while seniors Madison Bollig and Dena Looft were named to the second team.

Rolling led the Warriors in scoring this season with 227 points, an average of 10.8 per game. She shot 51.8 percent (85-of-164) from the filed and 62.5 percent (50-of-80) from the free throw line. She also had a team-high 91 rebounds along with 40 steals, 14 assists and five blocked shots.

Oliver finished with 183 points, an average of 8.7 per game. She shot 34.6 percent (28-of-81) from 3-point range and 60.2 percent (65-of-108) from the free throw line.

Bollig finished with 90 points this season, an average of 4.3 points per contest. She also had 69 rebounds, 39 steals and 25 assists.

Looft finished with 82 points this season, an average of 4.3 points per game. She also had 79 rebounds, 37 steals and 26 assists along with nine blocked shots.

Meanwhile, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire finished tied for third in the league with a 3-5 record. Three Titans received all-conference honors with senior grace Skattebo named to the first team and senior Brooke Hoffman and junior Lauren Flaharty named to the second team.

Skattebo finished with 191 points this season, an average of 9.1 points per contest. She also had 94 rebounds, 21 steals and 16 assists.

Hoffman led the team this season with 208 points, an average of 9.9 per game while shooting 35.3 percent (30-of-85) from 3-point range and 64. 8 percent (46-of-71) from the free throw line. She also had 58 rebounds, 31 assists and 17 steals.

Flaharty finished with 142 points this season, an average of 7.9 points per game. She also had 69 rebounds, a team-high 52 steals and 30 assists.
