ELC cross country and girls' track coach Tina Burton said Enerson has been an outstanding leader and is very encouraging to the younger runners.

"Brianna has a heart of gold and wants what is best for her team.," said Burton. "You will see Brianna on the track cheering on all of her teammates and pushing them to test their own limits through the whole track meet. She has this same quality in practices, going back to get runners who aren't quite done yet, cheering them on and talking them through their workout."

Enerson has big goals for the upcoming track season and has been working in the weight room and taking part in extra workouts.

"She is really excited about running for Dordt College but her first goal is to get back to state her senior year," said Burton.
