Not ready for your child to be home all day with no school?

The Regional Wellness Center's 4-Star Camp is one way to occupy children for the first couple weeks of summer vacation.

Funded by a Decategorization grant, the program is in its 12th year.

Hosted by the RWC, the camp is held Tuesdays-Friday, but all the activities are not located at the facility.

RWC Director Bob Grems, said two groups enjoyed cooking classes at Estherville Lincoln Central High School.

"We've also been to Skateland and had outdoor activities," said Grems. "Next week we'll be at Thoreson (Park)."

Swimming games and other games are also held at the RWC.

Approximately 40 youth are in the camp this year.

For parents who are unable to drop off their children, RWC staff offers transportation to and from the camp as well.
