The Estherville Lincoln Central Robotics team traveled to Sioux Center early Saturday morning to compete in its first robotics meet of the year.

Competing with its robot named 6624, the team was hard at work in its last building and practice session programming and building a lift and a claw.

At inspection, however, the claw was slightly too heavy, and the team decided to remove it.
