SIBLEY - Three Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire wrestlers earned the right to advance in postseason action following Saturday's Class 1A sectional in Sibley.

Spencer Roth (160), ranked seventh, and Treyton Cacek (182) ranked second, both won their respective brackets. Meanwhile Cormick Currans (152) also moved on by finishing second. All three Titans will wrestle at the district meet hosted by Sioux Central this Saturday in Sioux Rapids.

Roth (42-3) won by 16-1 technical fall in 2 minutes, 6 seconds over West Sioux's Jeshua Cervantes in the semifinal and then won by injury default over Sibley-Ocheyedan's Dahson DeJong in the first-place match.

Cacek (44-1) pinned Western Christian's Karson Vanderziel in 30 seconds in the semifinal and then won an 8-2 decision over fourth-ranked Carson Lynott of West Sioux.

Currans (17-27) won by fall in 2:31 over Sioux Central's Anthony Durazo in the semifinal, but lost 5-0 to West Sioux's Seth Salker in the final. Currans did not have to wrestle back for second.

Junior Cade Stearns (120) was the only Titan to finish third. He lost his semifinal 10-9 to West Sioux's Drayven Kraft, after holding a 7-5 lead entering the third period. Kraft lost in the final so Stearns did not get a wrestleback. He finished the season with a 38-11 record.

Lucas Rouse (145), Tanner Murray (195), and Clayton Schroeder (220) all placed fourth. Carson Torreson (106) and Jordan Saul (138), both placed fifth. Andrew Kral (170) placed sixth.
