ELC repeats All-State Honors for one-act

Estherville Lincoln Central is sending three of its Large Group Speech entries to All-State, the highest honor a performance can receive.

The one-act play, "Taming of the Shrew" will perform at the Iowa State Center in Ames on Feb. 22. The Ensemble Acting performance of Jenny Lawson's "Let's Pretend this Never Happened," performed by Justin Christensen and Shiloh Kirchner will also perform at All-State, while the ensemble acting performance of Don Zolidis' "Anna and August," was honored with an All-State invitation, but will not be performing.

The cast and crew of "Taming of the Shrew" includes Justin Christensen, Bryan Peterson, Angie Palmer, Cole Danner, Ethan Masters, Brendan Finley, Winter Williams, Taylor Myers, Cullen Bixby, Blake Bixby, Braxton Shryock, Yahir Diaz, Ahries Nissen, Anthony Rivera, Ehren Masters, Ely Jones, Octavio Diaz, Lena McCoy, Cora Brant, and Carly Grange. Directors are Ms. Jean Herrick and Ms. Desiree Welty.
