Adoption in Iowa: fourth in the nation

What does the high rate of adoptions in the state mean for rural northwest Iowa? The Estherville News spoke with the leader of an organization in Okoboji that supports foster and adoptive families while providing opportunities for the community to lend support, AND with an Iowa man who’s a fellow of the Jim Casey Initiative, an organization new to Iowa that helps youth who are aging out of foster care.
