Last weekend, Excel!?Estherville Arts &?Culture had hands and hearts, muscles and minds sculpting the base figure of the collaborative community snow sculpture.

Reminiscent of the sculptures of days past, the project attracted a number of community members to help.

Project leader Julie Clark said, “We’ll be working on it again this Saturday, Feb. 4 at 10 a.m. Anyone of any age can help.”

Helpers so far include:?

Beth Reineke and Mariah, Greg and Lesa Paulson with daughters Emily and Hanna, Laurie Olson, Lexie Ruter, Nancy Clark, Steve Danielson, Lyle Hevern, Jessi Strom with daughter Lily, Dale Breuer, Sally Miller, and John Clark.

With more community members involved, Clark said, future winters could include more sculptures.
