EFD responds to car fire

Estherville Fire Department firefighters work to extinguish the blaze. Firefighters were summoned to the fire at 11:44 a.m. Arriving on scene at 11:50 a.m., firefighters found the car fully engulfed and quickly extinguished the flames. They stayed at the site for 20 minutes. The vehicle was owned by Vanessa Woodard of Arnolds Park. Estherville Fire Chief Dick Beaver said the cause of the blaze is still under investgation.
