Poor shooting dooms A-R

ARMSTRONG — Despite holding Harris-Lake Park to just two third quarter points, Armstrong-Ringsted was unable to rally from a nine-point halftime deficit. The Wolves then pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 51-37 victory.

“We had a good first quarter and a terrible third quarter where we only made two shots,” said A-R coach George Walker.

A-R led 12-11 after one period, but trailed 34-23 at halftime and 36-29 after three quarters.

Elliot Kinnander led A-R with eight points while Seth Anderson had seven points and four assists and Craig Tigges had six points and six rebounds.

A-R (0-10, 0-8) hosts Twin River Valley on Thursday.
