A wholly good time
Avera Holy Family Foundation’s annual fundraiser provided an evening of entertainment for an audience of well over 300.
The second annual Wholly Grape & Ale was an evening of wine and ale sampling and live music provided by Randy Yackle at the Estherville Golf Course Club House Friday. Spirit vendors included Glaciers, Johnson Brothers, Okoboji Wines, and Little Swan Lake Winery.
A large hors d’oeuvres buffet was served along with a very popular chocolate fountain. Raffle prizes were drawn throughout the evening and included two certificates for $500 Estherville City Bucks. Other items were an Amish oak bench, framed artwork and prints, dining gift certificates, beautiful area rug, set of table lamps, numerous gift packages, oil changes, whirlpool suite package, Tracfone, manicures, haircuts, massages, tanning, and more.
The fundraiser helps the Foundation support various projects such as funding healthcare education scholarships, offering financial assistance to individuals who cannot afford care, and providing equipment to support the work for the hospital’s healthcare team.
