Danish Days celebrate Christmas in June
RINGSTED — Going along with Ringsted’s Danish Days Christmas theme, this year’s dinner theater is titled “The Sons of Norway Christmas Dance and Dinner.”
Anita Larsen wrote the play and will direct it. It will take place 6 p.m., Saturday, June 14, at the American Legion.
The play is an adult comedy featuring Ole, Lena, Sven, and their Norwegian friends.
Ole and Lena are accidentally put in charge of the social event of the year. They only have two days to plan the event, which occurs on Dec. 24.
The play will involve the audience, who will be served a traditional Christmas dinner including turkey and all the trimmings.
Tickets for the dinner theater are still available. They can be purchased at the Emmet County State Bank in Ringsted, or by calling Anita Larsen at 712-866-1711.
