Estherville Noon Kiwanis begin recycling program

Noon Kiwanis is conducting a recycling program to support and add to local charities.

Kiwanis has a recycling trailer parked at 2803 Murray Road, the former Woodland container building for recycling all types of paper products including:

n Paper.

n Newspapers.

n Magazines.

n Cardboard.

n Hardcover books (with covers removed).

n Soft cover books.

n Telephone books.

These items can be dropped off at the trailer in plastic bags, boxes or bundles. The trailer is at ground level. Please place materials to the front of the trailer.

Paper products only please. The recycling company asks newspapers be separated from all other paper products.

The funds raised will be used to continue programs and to donate to new programs in Emmet County.

Among the current programs which will benefit from this project are:

n Three scholarships to Iowa Lakes Community College.

n Cub Scouts.

n Little League.

n Special Olympics.

n Halloween Association.

n Meals on Wheels.

n National Honor Society.

n Emmet County Food Pantry.

n Emmet County Kinship.

n Post Prom.

n Emmet County 4-H.

n Regional Wellness Center Scholarships.
