Pure Fishing moves headquarters to S.C.
Pure Fishing announced Wednesday morning its headquarters is moving to Columbia, S.C.
“The move is being made to ensure that the company keeps progressing forward,” said Ron Giudice, Pure Fishing’s media contact. Most of the tackle sold by Pure Fishing is used in the growing bass and salt water fishing markets. Being closer to the bass fishing market was highly influential in moving the company to the East coast.
Pure Fishing employs over 1,500 worldwide, including 900 in the United States. Six hundered of those are in Spirit Lake. No job cuts are planned for the Spirit Lake site.
A handful of upper management will have the opportunity to move to the new location. If they choose not to move, they will be able to fill jobs at the Spirit Lake site.
