Oltmans wins Sweet Cars Show
Virgil Oltmans of Apple Valley, Minn., was the big winner in Saturday’s third annual Sweet Cars Show sponsored by the Black Knights Car Club. Oltmans won both the People’s Choice and the Mayor’s Choice awards with his 1929 Ford.
The Club Choice award went to Bob Isebrand of Dolliver with his 1938 Ford pickup.
Other winners included Best Ford, Sid and Jan Deleo, 1957 T-Bird; Best GM, Don and Jan McClurg, 1964 Chevy; Best Mopar, Dawn Zimmer, 1966 Plymouth; Best Paint, Ken Elness, 1955 Chevy.
Between car show entries and club members, there were well over 100 cars in Saturday’s show. The top 25 winners received medallions and had their entry fees returned.
