Sweet Corn Recipe Cook-Off

Those participating need to bring a 9-by-13 pan of the prepared recipe that uses sweet corn. Embree said the recipe doesn’t have to be unique; all family favorites are acceptable. “The winner will be awarded best in show and received $100. So consider entering. What do you have to lose? You could win $100.”

But wait … there’s more!

Outdoor Movie

After the fireworks show, everyone is encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to sit on and watch the outdoor movie, “Over the Hedge.” It will be staged on Courthouse Square and is hosted by Steve’s Sales & Service.
