The Emmet County Board of Supervisors Tuesday approved final plat of the Wanda Christensen Acres subdivision on the north edge of Estherville.

The subdivision is comprised of three lots just west of BASF Plant Science. According to Larry Sundall, county planning and zoning director, the City of Estherville will provide water while the property owners will provide drain fields and septic. One property will have a private drive while a shared drive on a permanent easement will serve the other two lots. All lots are three acres after setbacks.

In other business Tuesday:

n Emmet County Engineer Roger Patocka gave the road report.

n Sundall, noting a number of illnesses in the building, asked and received permission from the board to get a quote for commercially cleaning the Emmet County Annex.

n Auditor Mikki Erickson said fire safety training for employees will be held 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6.
