Dahl honored as Rotary Administrative Professional of the Year

Kay Dahl, an employee at Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative, Thursday was honored as the Estherville Rotary 2011 Administrative Professional of the Year.

Dahl has worked at ILEC for 17 years, the past 12 as operations assistant. She is responsible for field crew radio traffic control and clerical support for operations supervisors.

Dahl received an associate’s of arts degree from Iowa Lakes Community College and is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in business from Buena Vista University. She and her husband have two children.

“She has lived in the area all her life and currently resides in Estherville,” said Rotarian and fellow ILEC employee Nancy Anderson. “She is active in the community, participates in the Relay for Life events and is a devoted mom, making sure not to miss any of her children’s activities.”

Anderson also spoke to Dahl’s professional capabilities.

“She is a team player and is a dedicated, loyal employee that any employer would be honored to have,” Anderson said.
