Black Knights cruise-in Friday

By Staff | May 5, 2011

At their monthly meeting Tuesday night at the VFW trophy room, Black Knights Car Club members planned their first cruise-in for the season this Friday night from 6:30-10 p.m. in Library Square in downtown Estherville.

See cars from the thirties all the way to the present day and hear some great old rock ‘n roll. The Team Anderson Relay for Life team will offer hot turkey sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, coffee and a bar for only $5 from 5:30-7 p.m.

At Tuesday night’s meeting members also discussed plans for a cruise-in at Bank Plus 5 p.m. May 26 during Chuckwagon Day. They’ll also take part in the Graettinger cruise-in 5 p.m. July 29 and in the Danish Days parade in Ringsted.

If you have a classic or antique car collecting dust in the garage or barn and would like some free advice on how to restore it, the Black Knights are for you. Meetings are held 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of every month at the Estherville VFW trophy room.
