Armstrong man arrested after disturbance report

By Staff | Mar 8, 2017

Dalton Shane Sathoff, 22, was scheduled for a preliminary hearing today on charges of criminal mischief in the 2nd degree, a class D felony, and interference with official acts.

The charges stem from a Feb. 27 incident in which Armstrong Police were called to 807 C Ave. #5 in Armstrong on a report that Sathoff was out of control.

Upon arrival, police found Sathoff damaged several items that would cost about $1,200 to repair. Sathoff resisted arrest when the police tried to take him into custody. During the scuffle, the officer sustained abrasions and complained of pain to his back, neck and shoulder.

Sathoff was being held in the Emmet County Jail on a $5,000 cash only bond.

Attorney Thomas E. Bjornstad has filed his appearance as Sathoff’s attorney.
