Rodeo comes to town Saturday

This Saturday and Sunday, the Emmet County Fairgrounds will be filled with the sights and sounds of the 30th annual Estherville High School and Junior High Rodeo. The events begin with cutting on Saturday at 8 a.m. and the rodeo kicking off at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at 7:30 a.m. is barrels and the rodeo begins at 9:30 a.m. Above Bubba Greig, an Estherville Lincoln Central sophomore, competes in bareback riding during last year’s rodeo. While last year’s event featured much rain, the current forecast for this weekend is sunny and warmer.
