The Estherville Fire Department responded to a camper fire around 9:45 Thursday morning at 939 N. Fifth St. in Estherville, according to fire chief Dick Beaver. Upon arrival, firefighters found the camper parked in front of the garage fully involved in fire. They were able to extinguish the fire in the camper but it had melted the siding on the garage. There were no injuries and firefighters were on scene for about 35 minutes. The home and camper are owned by Paul Edwards family. The cause is undetermined and the camper is a total loss.
