The Estherville Dog Park received a couple of upgrades Wednesday morning thanks to a group of volunteers who count–literally.

Estherville employees from Williams and Company PC built an obstacle course out of wooden posts and a table ramp for dogs to play on.

“A lot of us our a part of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants and in September they have a Month of Service,” said Danny Decker of Williams and Co. “Williams and Company and its seven offices in northwest Iowa and southeast South Dakota choose a project to help out in their communities. We reached out to the city (of Estherville) and they said we need help with this dog park, so we’re helping out with this.

Those working on the dog park project were Decker, Julie Ingvall, Sara Fechter, Jakob Gayer, Dawn Matthews, Jeff Versteeg, Krista Masters and Dave Gayer. Also assisting with the project was Parks and Rec employee Roger Hash.
