Estherville News holiday fabulous requests
The Estherville News needs your help and your great faces in our newspaper. Quarantines and an abundance of attention to safety have sidelined some of our staff, but as we get rolling again, we want to make the last dozen issues of the Estherville News for 2020 grateful, warm, merry and bright — as much as possible in these challenging times.
Contact email@example.com or talk to Amy at 712-330-2593.
Here are our requests for the remainder of November:
Monday, Nov. 23 — Adoption Month — if you are on any side of adoption: adoptee, birth parents, adoptive parents, lawyer, judge, CASA volunteer, social worker, sibling — biological or adoptive — we want to hear from you.
Also — has this time of staying home inspired you to learn a new skill? Johns Hopkins just came out with new research into how we master and retain new skills from practicing a musical instrument to improving our jump shot.
Thursday, Nov. 26 — Thanksgiving. In the midst of all that’s going on, what are you thankful for?
What are you looking forward to for Small Business Saturday and Shop the Ville Nov. 28-29?
Monday, Nov. 30 — Do you celebrate Advent? Now more than ever, it might do someone good to light a candle and be still.
