Hard work pays off for NHS inductees
The induction ceremony for the 2020-21 National Honor Society Induction Ceremony at Estherville Lincoln Central lasted about a half hour.
However, it was hours of hard work that the inductees put in to receive the prestigious honor.
Seventeen inductees–seven juniors and 10 seniors–put in the time and effort that caught the attention of the faculty committee who made the selections.
“It was a very tough, well-deserving group of individuals to judge this year and we should all be extremely proud of the group sitting in front of you this year,” said faculty advisor Kim Sorbo to assembled parents.
Seniors who were inducted as juniors in 2019 conducted the ceremony. They are Adelee Reinhardt, Adrienne Rosfjord, Emma Ross, Kendyl Ruschy, and Allison Young. In telling about the history of the honor society in Estherville, Adelee Reinhardt said with the 17 inductees, the total membership in school history is 1,539.
Characteristics of members are character, scholarship, leadership, and service.
