Vaccine clinic Friday, second dose Saturday

On Friday, April 2, we will be holding a COVID-19 vaccine clinic to administer Moderna vaccine to Phase 1A and 1B which includes:

n Healthcare workers

n First responders (firefighters, police officers, and child welfare social workers)

n PK-12 school staff, early childhood education, and childcare workers

n Food, agriculture, distribution and manufacturing workers who work in or live in congregate settings that do not allow for social distancing

n Individuals with disabilities living in home settings and their direct care staff

n Staff of and individuals living in congregate settings (does not include college dormitories)

n Government officials, to ensure continuity of government including staff, engaged in state business at the Iowa Capital during the legislative session

n Inspectors responsible for hospital, long-term care, and child safety

n Correctional facility staff and individuals incarcerated

n Individuals age 18 to 64 with medical conditions that are or may be an increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19. See Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) recommendations for those conditions here: https://www.cdc.gov/…/people-with-medical-conditions.html

If you received your first dose of Pfizer Covid 19 vaccine on Saturday, March 13th clinic, your boost dose is scheduled on Saturday, April 3rd at the ILCC SERT building at 2421 7th Ave South in Estherville.
