ESTHERVILLE–Funeral services for Lillian Herbrandson, 98, of Estherville, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at Calvary Gospel Assembly in Estherville with Pastor Don Bade officiating. Interment will be held at Union State Line Lutheran Cemetery in

Petersburg, Minn.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville.

She died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, at Good Samaritan Center in Estherville.

Lillian Rose Herbrandson, the daughter of Joseph Even and Caroline Sophia (Guge) Herbrandson, was born Nov. 16, 1909, in Estherville.

She graduated high school in Estherville and attended CBI in Springfield, Mo., and nursing classes in Estherville in preparation for the years spent in India as a missionary (1949 – 1964). She has been a caregiver for many individuals and worked at Good Samaritan Center in Estherville from 1978-1988. She was also active in many care ministries through her church, community and both of the local care centers. She was simply ACTIVE! Serving God and others was her passion – driving/travel her special joy.

She was a charter member of Calvary Gospel Assembly. She also enjoyed the Emmet County Historical Society and Estherville Garden Club for many years.

Lillian is survived by sisters-in-law, Janet Herbrandson (Carlton) and DeEtta Erickson (Norman) and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She has been preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Irvin, Carlton, Norman, Earl and Clarence; and two sisters, Ruth and Florence. Online condolences may be left at www.henryolsonfuneral.com
