Lois L. Yackle
DOLLIVER — Funeral services for Lois L. Yackle, 72, of Dolliver will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, may 31, 2008, at United Methodist Church in Estherville with Pastors Lynn Potter and Lyndon Roesler officiating. Vistation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville. Interment will be at Lincoln Township Cemetery in Dolliver.
She died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, near Grand Meadows, Minn.
Lois Lavonne Yackle, the daughter of Virgil and Leona (Schmidt) Zwiefel, was born Dec. 25, 1935, in Fenton.
She received her education in Dolliver school, graduating from Dolliver High School in 1954.
On July 11, 1954, she was united in marriage to Gene Yackle at the United Methodist Church in Dolliver. Following their marriage, the couple made their home in rural Dolliver. Lois enjoyed hosting coffee parties with her friends and most important was spending time with her family.
She was a member of United Methodist Church, the ladies aid, and the Chatter Club, all in Dolliver.
Left to cherish Lois’ memory are her husband, Gene of Dolliver; her children, Randy Yackle of Fairmont, Minn., Debra Yackle of Fairmont, and Kelly Yackle of Cordova, Ill.; sister, Marcella Moore of Fairmont; and brothers Wendell Zwiefel of Truman, Minn., and Calvin Zwiefel of Walker, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Deanne.
