Dale Wilbur Holroyd
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – A memorial service for Dale Holroyd, 80, of Hot Springs, Ark., was held on Oct. 19, at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Hot Springs, Ark., with Pastor John Onda officiating.
Dale passed away on Thursday, Oct. 16.
Dale Wilbur Holroyd was born on Jan. 24, 1928, in Estherville, to Wilbur and Della Holroyd.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. He was a former Chamberlain Manufacturing plant manager in Albia.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Bernice Holroyd, and a brother Earl Holroyd.
He is survived by his wife Irene (Baresel) Holroyd; a son, Bradley Holroyd and his wife Debi of Siloam Springs, Ark.; a daughter, Stephanie Campbell and her husband Tom of Oskaloosa; two step-daughters, Jan Windsor and her husband Doug of Fort Madison, Jill Sines of Tucson, Ariz.; a step-son, Michael Atkins and his wife Cyndi of Pella; two sisters, Dorothy Vedder and her husband Verlyn of Estherville; Erma Athey and husband Ray of Jackson Gap, Ala; eight grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren.
