BURKE, Va. – Graveside services for John L. Sheppard, 69, formerly of Estherville, will be held 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, at East Side Cemetery in Estherville.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Brendan; daughter, Brandi, of Virginia and his mother, Marguerite R. Sheppard, of Rosewood Manor in Estherville.
