Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville.
She died Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at her home in Estherville.
Jennifer Jo (Andrews) Woodley, the daughter of Ron and Anita (Anderson) Andrews, was born May 22, 1981, in Estherville.
She received her education in the Estherville schools, graduating from Estherville Lincoln Central High School. After graduation from high school she attended and graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville.
As a child Jen, while walking home from school, would shyly say hi to a young man shooting hoops in his driveway, named Kevin Woodley as she passed by him each day. It wasn’t until later on after being introduced to each other by a mutual friend, they began dating in late 2001. A few short months after they began dating, Jen was diagnosed with bone cancer. The cancer was not going to get in the way of Jen and Kevin’s life together and on Aug. 30, 2003, Jen and Kevin were united in marriage in Estherville where they made their home. In 2004, they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Caidynce. Jen had been employed at Ace Hardware, Woody’s Pizza and Heartland Technology. Jen was well known for her heart of gold and putting other’s needs before her own. Jen loved animals, choosing a handicapped pet over a normal, healthy pet or nursing an abandoned baby squirrel back to health. She left a legacy of love and an example of living life unselfishly. Jen and Kevin made the most of the time that they had together, traveling extensively. She had a passion for hobbies, sewing, reading, scrap booking and quilting. She loved her gardening, going on walks, but most important to Jen was spending quality time with family and friends.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Estherville.
Left to cherish Jen’s memory are her husband, Kevin, of Estherville; their daughter, Caidynce; her parents, Anita and Ron Andrews of Estherville; brother and sister, Jeff and Jessica Andrews; mother and father-in-law, Linda and Steve Woodley of Estherville; their cats, Maes and Zima and dog, Moe.
Preceding Jen in death were her maternal grandparents, Dora and Stuart Anderson; paternal grandparents, Mae and Elmer Andrews and her uncle, Dick Andrews.
