Dale C. Juhl
ESTHERVILLE – Funeral services for Dale C. Juhl, 91 of Estherville were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Estherville with Pastor Thomas Marth officiating. Interment was at East Side Cemetery in Estherville.
He died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville.
Dale Chris Juhl, the son of Chris and Christena M. (Peters) Juhl, was born July 4, 1922, in Grundy Center.
In March of 1924, Dale moved with his family to the Estherville area at a young age and completed his education.
On Aug. 18, 1951, Dale was united in marriage to Euphemia ‘Fame’ Kinnetz, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Estherville. Following their marriage the couple made their home in rural Estherville where they raised their family and Dale farmed his entire life. Dale also enjoyed driving bus for the Estherville School District for 67 years. Fame died Nov. 18, 2002.
Dale was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Elks Club in Estherville.
Left to cherish Dale’s memory are one son, Donald Chris Juhl, and his wife, Terresa, of Estherville; two grandchildren, Brandy and Matthew; two great-grandchildren, Noah and Hailee; sister, Maxine Mahin and her husband, Bill and special friend, Irene Neppl.
