To the EDN:

On May 23rd, an auction took place at the south end of town. I happen to own the property across the street. Upon my arrival to mow, I found 15-20 cars parked in my yard along with a sign encouraging others to do the same. No one asked for permission. This becomes an issue of liability. Who is responsible if someone falls and gets hurt on my yard? Is it the auctioneer, who used the lot without permission, or the owner? In this “sue happy” society we live in, I can’t take the risk. I’m sorry if I offended anyone by having you move your vehicle, but I hope you understand my position also. Thank You.
