Having a concert in downtown Estherville is a great way to not only provide local entertainment but to also bring people in from outside to enjoy our wonderful community.
Interestingly enough, if you look at old photos of Library Square from the early 1900s you’ll see huge gatherings of people in the square that then included a beautiful fountain just south of the library. Thousands gathered in Estherville to commemorate the Fourth of July, Labor Day and other special events.
As times get tight, we could all do well to look for entertainment close to home. And the Gospel in the Square is just the sort of thing that will appeal to a wide variety of people regardless of age or background.
