Wow, $97,000 thanks to Emmet County
2013 marked the 16th year for the American Cancer Society Emmet County Relay for Life-and Wow what it success it was!
We would like to start out by saying thank you to the following:
n Kay Dahl and Marj Pytleski for serving as Honorary Survivors
n Girls Scouts for the Raising of the Flag
n Larry Jensen and his carrier pigeons
n Woody’s Pizza for the donation of pizza
n Pizza Hut for the donation of pizza for our Relay Kick Of
n City of Estherville for the use of Library Square
n Estherville Public Library for the use of the library
n Estherville Parks and Rec Dept. for the use of picnic tables and bleachers
n Emmet County Courthouse for the use of restrooms
n ELC Schools for the use of the green space for the mini-relay
n Hy-Vee for daffodil storage
n United Methodist Church for the use of the Fellowship Hall for our meetings
n Armstrong Community Center for the “More Birthday Celebration” Supper
