A-R falls to CCE
EVERLY — The Armstrong-Ringsted boys basketball team lost 61-40 to Clay Central-Everly on tuesday.
A-R trailed 13-6 after one quarter, 33-15 at halftime and 42-26 after three quarters.
“Clay Central beat Ruthven-Ayrshire who only haas one loss, but they (CCE) lost to Ventura while Twin River Valley beat Ventura,” said A-R coach George Walker. “I don’t know how the conference is going to come out.”
The Mustangs were led by Brett Tigges with 11 points while Craig Tigges scored 10 points.
A-R (0-8, 0-6) hosts Woden-Crystal Lake-Titonka today.
