Early lead helps Indians to easy win

SPIRIT LAKE — opening up with a 22-8 first quarter,

Spirit Lake had little trouble in defeating Harris-Lake Park, 64-41, on Monday.

The game was rescheduled from Dec. 1 and the win helps the Indians improve to 9-3 overall.

Spirit Lake shot 47.5 percent from the field, but was 0-9 from 3-point range. while the Wolves shot mostly 3-pointers. H-LP was 8-of-26 from 3-point range and 15-of-49 overall. The Indians led 30-15 at halftime and 50-29 after three quarters.

Scott Maudlin led Spirit Lake with 18 points and four assists. Andy Pringnitz had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds and also had five blocked shots. Mason Bergquist had 14 points and five steals.

Spirit Lake played at Sheldon on Tuesday.
