Lakers hit century mark against BV JV
The Iowa Lakes men’s basketball team shot 60 percent from the field in a 100-84 victory over the Morningside junior varsity on Tuesday.
The Lakers out-rebounded the Mustangs 48-28, but 23 turnovers helped the visitors keep the game close.
Jimmie Marshall led five players in double digits with 24 points. David Fox contributed 18 points and a team-high nine rebounds.
Mitch Bain scored 16 points while Zach Fenceroy and Jackson Parr each had 10 points.
The Lakers dished out 26 assists with Bain, Dalston Jones and Marshall each with five.
Iowa Lakes (14-5, 4-1) hosts Clinton at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
