Knights earn fifth victory
GRAETTINGER — Theresa Petersen scored 13 points and had 12 rebounds and Malorie Girres had 13 points and eight rebounds as the Knights defeated Ruthven-Ayrshire 34-22 on Thursday.
G/T led the entire way despite going scoreless in the fourth quarter.
The Knights led 11-7 after one quarter, 25-13 at halftime and 34-18 after two quarters.
“The ladies gave a good defensive effort the entire game,” said G/T coach Roger Conway. “Offensively, they did a nice job for three quarters.”
Dakota Hovinga chipped in seven points.
The Knights (5-11) were on the road against Twin River Valley on Friday.
