No. 4 Spirit Lake stays atop Lakes with ELC

SPIRIT LAKE –Class 3A No. 4 Spirit Lake’s 1-2 tandem of Kaisha Brown and Amber Kirschbaum had some help from their teammates as the Indians beat Western Christian 56-48 on Friday.

Kirscbhaum had 17 points and seve rebounds while Brown had 13 points and nine rebounds in teh win.

however, Mary Brown and Chelsie Stettnichs both chipped in nine points and regan Sieperda had six in the Indians victory.

Spirit Lake was 13-17 from teh free throw line led by Kaisha Brown,who was 6-for-6.

The Indians remain atop the Lakes Conference with No. 12 Estherville Lincoln Central with a 13-1 mark.

The Indians (16-1) travel Estherville on Monday.
